Kinshuk Vaidya is one of television’s most well-known performers.
Recently, the actor made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Punyashlok Ahilyabai’s producers accused him of being unprofessional.
Kinshuk Vaidya was said to have been replaced at Punyashlok Ahilyabai by Gaurav Amlani overnight late last week. After Kinshuk failed to comply to the exclusivity deal, producer Nitin Vaidya enlisted Gaurav to play the grown-up Khanderao Holkar, according to the Times of India. “A contract was struck with Kinshuk,” he had stated. He, on the other hand, opted to work on another project and informed us that he wanted to leave the programme. As a result, we’ve enlisted Gaurav’s help to play the part.
Kinshuk has previously remained silent on the subject. “Sometimes, two partners are unable to achieve an acceptable resolution, and one is left with no choice but to split ways,” he has now remarked. That’s just the way things go in life. Accepting that it wasn’t meant to happen gently is the best way to deal with it.” Nearly two months ago, the actor was cast in the show. “One of the reasons I opted out was the long wait,” he adds. I was first told that the shoot would begin in ten days. However, they did not provide any updates, and the filming continued to be postponed. I didn’t sign up for another show till they let me go. Many things made me uncomfortable, and my complaints were not welcomed or handled. Whatever occurs, though, will be for the best. I see it as a learning opportunity.”
Kinshuk Vaidya also talked about the ‘unprofessionalism’ comment. “It’s their opinion and needn’t be true. People who have worked with me will vouch for my professionalism. I have been here long enough and acting for more than 26 years. I am not someone who wants to be known as an unprofessional artiste, because acting ke alawa maine life mein kuchh kiya hi nahi hai.”
