Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon took to social media today to tease her fans with her upcoming film, Mimi. The actress shared a moving poster of the film and asked her fans to “expect the extraordinary from the ordinary” this July. It seems Kriti is going to make an important announcement this month regarding the release of the film. Speculation is rife that the film might get released on the OTT platform in which she is portraying the titular role, Mimi.
Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram handle today morning to share a moving poster of her upcoming film and asked her fans to stay tuned as she is soon going to make an important announcement. The actress wrote, “This July, expect the extraordinary from the ordinary! Stay tuned. #Mimi.”
Recently, on Ranveer Singh’s birthday on July 6, Kriti Sanon wished him with an unseen still in Mimi style. In the caption, she mentioned that Ranveer is Mimi’s favorite. In her note, she wrote, “Dear Ranveer Singh, You are Mimi’s FAVOURITE! And Mine too. Wish you a very happy birthday!! @ranveersingh From Mimi & Me #HappyBirthdayRanveerSingh #Mimi.”
About Mimi
Mimi is an upcoming drama helmed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films. The film stars Kriti Sanon as a surrogate mother. It also features Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak.
Talking about the film earlier, the actress told the news agency, “I am very excited. It’s based on the subject of surrogacy but actually, it’s the story of this young girl who wants to be an actor. She’s a dancer in Mandawa and she ends up being a surrogate for a couple. Then, the things that follow change her life and also change her as a person.”
Besides this, Kriti Sanon will also be seen in Ganapath, Adipurush, Bhediya, Bachchan Pandey, among others.
