Finally, Netflix is getting better. Of late, this OTT platform had nothing interesting to offer but after watching Jaane Jaan and Love at first sight, I am looking forward to Netflix again.
Starring Haley Lu Richardson and Nen Hardy, this is currently in the top 10 movies on Netflix. It’s a story of two young people who meet at the airport. They land up talking as their flight is delayed. Once, they board, they are separated. Cupid plays his part and as luck shines on this young couple, they get a chance to sit together on the flight as well.
This is a light hearted romantic movie. Helmed by Vanessa Caswill from a screenplay by Katie Lovejoy, the movie is based on a book, “The statistical probability of love at first sight,” and our hero here, is a Maths guy, he only talks in numbers. Hardy’s character is brilliant, a bright, positive guy, who’s going to attend his mother’s condolence meet. She has been suffering from cancer and wishes to attend this meet in person. British star Jameela Jamil is the omnipresent narrator.
Hadley Sullivan, was flying to attend her dad’s second wedding. Meeting Oliver, helps her get in sync with this harsh reality, and accept her dad’s decision.
It’s a short, cute movie, not much time wasted for tears or emotional drama. I enjoyed this one, try it!
