After a long time, I have enjoyed watching something on Netflix and this series was really a fresh change, something my entire family enjoyed.
Directed by Rahul Pandey and written by Kunal Aneja and Saurabh Khanna, the series has wit, humour, real-life funny incidents like a parrot hurling abuses and there are thought provoking issues with a comic element.
With the lead role played by Ravi Kishan and supported by a talented cast of stars, the drama is held in the court of Patparganj. From the very first scene, you want to watch it. Each episode is brief yet relatable. Each issues is legal, like the right of a woman to marry in prison and have conjugal visiting rights. The 8 episodes have all been fun to watch, all eccentric cases but with a heartfelt message.
Nidhi Bisht’s character as Sujata didi, the one who will find an answer for anything, really had me going.
The comedy, the one-liners and the dialogues keep one glued. There is a sense of freshness in this series. This series made me feel comfortable, and I love how Ananya Shroff, a Harvard Law graduate, tries to fit in the system and blend in.
