Pankaj Tripathi is all set to play the role of PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The trailer of the film is out. Directed by Ravi Jadhav, who has also directed Taali, this one is a biopic of the late three-time Prime Minister of India.
All set for its release on the 19th January, 2024, the national award winner Pankaj Tripathi has tried his best to the charismatic leader our PM was. The famous dialogue, “Dalo ke iss dal-dal beech, ek kamal khilana hoga (we have to bring a change),” has been delivered in the movie as the PM used to say.
Talking about his experience in playing the role, Pankaj said, “Getting a chance to play the role of our great leader, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an honour in itself. We went through rigorous reading sessions, to understand the dialect, his lifestyle and his vision for India. I feel elated today as we begin shooting for Maan Atal Hoon.”
Director Ravi Jadhav, praised the actor and said, “I have seen Pankaj ji being super involved in the process of knowing and understanding Atal ji. I am sure no one else would have been a better fit than Pankaj ji to essay such a proficient personality. Hoping to create the same magic with our film that Atal ji created with his life and his vision for our country.”
