Mandira Bedi lost her husband Raj Kaushal on June 30. The 49-year-old filmmaker suffered an early morning cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital Mandira Bedi but he could not survive. Mandira Bedi bid a teary goodbye to husband Raj Kaushal and broke gender stereotypes as she performed his last rites. Silently mourning her husband’s death, Mandira has not shared any post on Instagram but has deleted her social media profile picture. The actress has replaced it with a black screen.
Bollywood is still mourning the sudden and tragic death of actress Mandira Bedi’s husband and filmmaker-producer Raj Kaushal who passed away in the wee hours of June 30 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
Over the weekend, Mandira Bedi held a prayer meet for Raj Kaushal and it was attended by several of their close friends.
MouniVir. Now, Mandira’s BFF Mouni Roy took to her Instagram handle and paid a tribute to the departed soul. She shared a photo from the prayer meet which was held at Mandhira’s residence. While, the picture saw a table adorned with flowers that held a picture of Raj and a board that read, ‘We all miss you Raji’, Mouni captioned the post as, ‘We do…. It’ll never be the same again…’. On the other hand, Mandira who is still inconsolable after losing her husband took to her Instagram handle and changed her display picture to a black circle to pay tribute to him.
In July 2020 the couple had adopted a 4-year-old girl and named her Tara Bedi Kaushal
Sharing fond memories of Raj Kaushal, his close friend Ashish Chowdhry had penned a heartfelt tribute. “My big brother, my guiding light, my happy quotient, my pamper-me-lots person, is gone. My brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, is gone. But yet, he’s filled positivity and gratitude real hard in me. He’s taught me well. To survive any storm. And I’ll do the same today. For him. I love you forever, my Rajiee. Until then my bro. Until we meet again,” Ashish had shared.
