We are all waiting for the crime series Killer Soup, starring Manoj Bajpayee and Konkana Sen Sharma. This will be an intense dark series directed and co-written by Abhishek Chaubey.
He states, “With Killer Soup, we wanted to give the audience permission to laugh and also be totally shocked with a crime thriller that blends humor and quirkiness. It is a pot-boiler sent completely over the top with an exceptional cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Sayaji Shinde and Lal. Through this series, I wanted to serve up something exceptional with Netflix and it has been a creatively fulfilling experience with them.”
The series will stream on Netflix from the 11th Jan, 2024. The story revolves around an aspiring yet untalented home chef, who comes up with an eccentric plan to replace her husband with her lover. However, all goes astray when a snooping inspector intervenes and the chaos begins. This series thrills and chills.
