Actor and Fashion Designer Masaba Gupta, has announced that the shoot of much-anticipated series Masaba Masaba season 2 has come to an end. On Thursday, the actress announced the news on her official social media account. Masaba Masaba’s first season received a lot of positive feedback and a lot of viewers. It premiered on the OTT platform in August 2020 and is based on real-life events from Masaba Gupta’s life.
Masaba posted a monochrome black and white clip from the sets with the caption, “42 days.Lots of laughs, tears, anxieties, pure happiness, deep tiredness later it’s a wrap on season 2. Three cheers to the incredible cast, crew (Dr.K) & everyone who was a part of this! See you on your.”
Masaba’s mother, Neena Gupta, is also featured in the series. Neena announced the second season of the series on her official social media handle earlier in March this year. She wrote, “We are back to share a little slice of our crazy but fun lives with you. Masaba Masaba Season 2 is streaming soon on @netflix_in,” Neena Gupta had written on Instagram.
Earlier in an Interview with Midday, Masaba had opened up about her experience in season one as well in the second season. She said, “Masaba Masaba Season 1 was one of the most unexpected yet fun things to happen to me. I have extremely fond memories of filming for the show and just having a good time with the amazing cast and crew. I’m all set to start filming for the new season with excitement and renewed energy. I get to show a different side of myself in season 2, and I can’t wait to see what the audience will think about it. It’s going to be twice the laughter, twice the tears and twice the fun!”
