In a glittering event at the Lalit Mumbai, Shweta Sarda was crowned Miss Diva. Indeed, a tough competition, there were 16 contestants out of 160 participants that were shortlisted for the finals.
This 22-year-old beauty has made Chandigarh proud. Brought by single-handedly by her mother. She ventured to Mumbai to pursue her dreams. She has been a part of several shows like DID, Dance Deewane, Dance + and choreographed Jhalak Dikhlaja.
For the special moment, she donned a gold and aubergine gown designed by Nikita Mhaisalkar. A figure-hugging silhouette with a thigh high slit, cape sleeves and shimmering sequin embellishments, the reigning 2022 Miss Diva crowned Shweta. She will represent India at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador in November.
The Miss Diva Supranational 2023 award was won by Sonal Kukreja. In an interview Sonal talking about the woman who inspired her. She said, “The beauty queen who truly inspires me is Priyanka Chopra. Her journey from being a small-town girl to an international icon is awe-inspiring. Priyanka’s unapologetic confidence, relentless determination and commitment to breaking barriers resonate deeply with me.”
Sonal will represent India at the Miss Supranational this year.
The judge’s appointed for the show, the panel comprised of designer Abhishek Sharma and Nikita Mhaisalkar, photographer Jatin Kampani, past Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, Sangeeta Bijlani, Srinidhi Shetty and Pratik Gandhi.
