‘Modern Family’ star Eric Stonestreet gets engaged girlfriend Lindsay Schweitzer

Eric Stonestreet of “Modern Family” announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Lindsay Schweitzer on Instagram on Sunday in a true hilarious fashion. In the series of photos he can be seen with his fiancee, who was wearing her engagement ring. Several people including his co-star Ariel Winter, Gwyneth Paltrow and Zachary Levi also expressed the gratitude and love with several congratulatory comments on the post.

Announcing his engagement with girlfriend Lindsay, Eric wrote, “She said, ‘She’d have her people call my people.” In each of the three photos, Schweitzer, a pediatric nurse can be seen smiling happily as she flaunts her engagement ring. Wherein Eric, the time Emmy-winning actor has different emotional reactions in each photo. The couple seemed very happy together as the posed for the camera together after their proposal, with Lindsay showing off her ring.

As soon as the engagement post surfaced online, many industry friends of Eric poured comments and blessed the couple with love. Eric’s Modern Family co-star Ariel Winter expressed her happiness and stated, “F**k Yeah!!! You finally wifed up the QUEEN!!! Love you both! Congrats!” Meanwhile, wyneth Paltrow congratulated and wrote, “YAY!!! We are so happy for you.”

Zachary Levi and Michale Buble also poured congratulatory comments on Stonestreet’s engagement. Eric is well-known for his role as Cameron Tucker in Modern Family. On the show, the actor’s character, Cam, is shown to be married to Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Mitchell Pritchett. Eric has also had a recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Earlier, in an interview with Ellen, Eric had revealed about his relationship with Schweitzer. The actor said, “She calms me — she calms my nerves.”
