Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the main role is all set to release in theatres this Friday. Recently the makers of the film held a special screening for the Mr. Perfectionist of the Bollywood, Amir Khan. The actor was blown away with the film and performances. In the video, Aamir Khan tears up as he watches the film.

Aamir said, “I have no words to speak. You have caught India’s emotion and the way you have done it, it’s unbelievable.” Aamir was also all praise for Amitabh Bachchan and called it one of his best films.

Post the screening of the film, Aamir invited all the cast to her house and discussed the film’s detailing and inspiring moments. Aamir praised the director and its unmatchable vision of the film.

Based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of ‘NGO Slum Soccer’, Jhund is the film about how he invested his time and hard-earned money to train underprivileged kids in the game of football. He encouraged the kids to play and invested his time to keep them away from drugs and crimes seeded in Nagpur’s underbelly.

The film will hit the theaters on 4th March 2022. The film is helmed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Raaj Hiremath, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Meenu Aroraa and Sandeep Singh, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment & Aatpat.
