Every year, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and his family celebrate the Ganpati festival, and this year marks their 28th year of doing so. Because of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, Neil Nitin Mukesh decided to keep the celebrations low-key, according to Pinkvilla. They will also take all necessary precautions for the arrival of guests at their home.
According to Pinkvilla, the actor stated that the decor will be simple yet elegant this year. Neil Nitin Mukesh also revealed that her daughter will be preparing modak along with her mother and they also carry a great bond together. Her daughter also performs puja twice a day with her mother, and riyaz with his father on a daily basis. The actor also added because his sister has flown down this year and will be a part of the festival.
Furthermore, Neil stated that they began celebrating Ganpati festival at their home 28 years ago due to his and his sister Neha’s insistence. He stated that previously, they had a close friend and neighbour named Chika who was also present when it came to celebrating, but unfortunately, he died at a young age. He also stated that the reason for celebrating this festival is that his father is a big Ganesh ji bhakt, and he always wanted to do it, and with us around, he was even surer about it, and that’s how they started celebrating 28 years ago, and these 10 days are truly the most beautiful for them.
