Netflix today, July 28 shared the first look of its upcoming film Monica, O My Darling. The streaming platform in the first look revealed the cast of the film, which will feature Rajkummar Rao, Radhika Apte, Huma Qureshi, and Sikandar Kher in the lead roles.
The film is being directed by Vasan Bala, who is being praised for Netflix’s Ray anthology. Sharing the pictures of the cast from the film Monica, O My Darling, the giant streaming platform wrote in the caption, “O My Darlings, give us a first look! ^ Us to the cast of Monica, O My Darling before they showed us these images. @RajkummarRao @humasqureshi @radhika_apte @akansharanjan #SukantGoel #BagavathiPerumal #ZaynMarieKhan @MatchboxShots @Vasan_Bala #YogeshChandekar.”
Netflix hasn’t revealed details about the project. Radhika Apte shared a BTS clip on her Instagram handle from the sets of Monica, O My Darling, featuring the cast and the crew of the film. She captioned it, “Scene, set, Swag, set, Monica, O My Darling is now filming.”
Earlier, Rajkumar Rao and Netflix shared a snap of the actor holding a robot. Rajkumar shared the post along with the caption, “O My Darlings, there’s some news coming for you tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the film Roohi alongside Janhvi Kapoor. While Radhika Apte’s last was seen in Raat Akeli Hai.
