Ranveer Singh’s experience in the Hindi film industry has spanned a decade. The Bollywood’s high-flying star claims that it has been a rewarding experience for him and that he was a different guy ten years ago.

Ranveer Singh made his acting debut in 2010 with the film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat,’ following which he went on to feature in films like ‘Bajirao Mastani,’ ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela,’ ‘Padmaavat,’ ‘Dil Dhadakne Do,’ ‘Simmba,’ ‘Gully Boy,’ and ’83.’

“I’ve been on this road for a decade, and it’s been beyond my wildest dreams,” he adds. I am eternally thankful for the opportunity to pursue a career as an actor, and I am grateful every day. It’s odd to think that I’m living my dream; I’m very happy for the possibilities, which I much cherish.” And what a trip it has been these ten years, from ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ (BBB) to ’83,’ and I am very grateful that I have had the chance to work with some of the finest directors, to display my acting repertory, to develop my own art in other genres, and to demonstrate my flexibility.”

“This trip has been rewarding, but I am no longer the same person I was ten years ago. When I first released ‘BBB,’ it was an instant smash, and I used to believe I could accomplish anything. But as time passed and I gained more experience and grew as a person, I realised I didn’t know much, and I thought to myself, “Man, this trade of acting and performing is unlimited.””

He said, ” “There are no right or wrong ways to do things – it’s all about creativity, which is so free-flowing that it’s almost endless. As a result, I’ve come to recognise that I’m in a position where I don’t know anything.”

“So, ten years later, on the occasion of this historic release in my career, I’d say I’m hungrier than ever.” I’d like to collaborate with filmmakers that have influenced me in the past to see what else I can learn from this experience. I’d want to collaborate with new voices, genres, directors, and stories, and I’d like to take on new challenges.”

Ranveer said that being an actor has provided him with a lot “Right now, I’m experiencing joy and contentment. I’m working with Karan Johar for the first time, and Alia for the second time – it’s an honour to work with such talented people, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming films.”

Ranveer will next be featured in YRF’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar,’ Shankar’s adaptation of his classic ‘Anniyan,’ Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus,’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ among other projects.
