One of the most enjoyable moviegoing experiences you’ll have this year is Thor: Love & Thunder. The next MCU picture starring the superhero, directed by Taika Waititi once more, continues Thor’s adventure. Following the events of Endgame, Thor is attempting to identify his goals for the upcoming phase of his existence.
He claims that his heroic days are behind him, but the break is short-lived. Thor is forced to go back into the battle as Gorr the God Butcher sets out on a mission to destroy all the gods. He is accompanied by Mighty Thor, who also happens to be his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, and Valkyrie.
Thor and Jane at last find their rhythm together. The chemistry between Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman is at an all-time high, and we finally find out what happened to their romance between Thor: The Dark World and now. Her relationship with Thor has an intriguing new dimension as a result of Jane’s new role as Mighty Thor. Thor never harbors resentment toward Jane’s abilities, which is very reassuring.
In addition, the relationship between the reconstructed Mjolnir, Thor, and Stormbreaker is funny. The only actor who could have such convincing chemistry with a firearm is Chris Hemsworth.
The ninth Marvel film Chris has seen is Thor: Love & Thunder. With Thor: Ragnarok, Taika took over directorial duties for the Thor films, and the character has never been greater. Taika is familiar with Thor, and she collaborates with Chris well to offer us a superhero that is colossal in more ways than one. Thor has the ability to mesmerize us during fight moments, make us laugh the next, and then make us cry. It’s a tribute to Chris’ outstanding performance, Taika’s directing, and the writing.
