Season 2 of the fantastic and most awaited web series was released two days earlier than scheduled on the Amazon Prime Video OTT streaming platform.
The “To-Watch” list for fans ranged between Jersey (Netflix), RRR (Netflix and ZEE5), Zombivli (ZEE5), Acharya (Amazon Prime), Escape Live (Disney Hotstar), and Panchayat Season2 (Amazon Prime) which is a lot of entertainment to choose from.
Panchayat Season 2 was originally released on May 20th. Just after 1 PM on 18th May, the Amazon Prime Video India’s Twitter page uploaded a preview with the caption ”the wait is too long for us to bear”.
And lo and behold!! a few hours later all the episodes were released. A follow-up tweet simply stated, ”Grab your popcorns and watch #Panchayat Season 2 now.”
“Panchayat Season has been reportedly leaked online on notorious piracy sites like Worldfree4u, Tamilrockers, and so on. It is also said to be released on telegram as well. This could have made the makers of Panchayat 2 release the show ahead of the last schedule.”
‘Panchayat’ premiered its first season in 2020. Although initially a lukewarm response, it did catch up and the fans appreciated the simple storyline, brilliant performances, and the village life. Nevertheless, fans are super excited at the launch after a 2-year long wait. Everyone is in favor of season 2. After watching a plethora of drug series, abusive language, action, and abusive language Panchayat Season 2 is a whiff of fresh air. The simple yet meaningful episodes keep us glued to our screens and the subtle humor keeps the audience asking for more.
Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, Neena Gupta and Raghuvir Yadav play pivotal roles. The lead actor Jitendra Kumar has hinted that the production team at TVF wants season3 as much as fans do.
As a story of rural manners, with a satirical lens on cowardice and complacency, Panchayat 2 is triumphant!!
