Parveena, Aamir Khan’s Lagaan co-star, has made a public plea for assistance to the actor.

Parveena, who worked with Aamir Khan in Lagaan, has publicly requested work from him. Parveena, who aspires to be a casting director, is said to have had a stroke last year.

“My family has always helped, and there are a few friends who look out for me as well,” Parveena told a prominent newspaper. All I need now is some financial assistance till my health improves. I’d want to work as a casting director and would approach production companies with my request.”

“I need to work, and I beg him to give me employment,” she says. My ailment is unknown to Aamir bhai. He would have surely assisted me if he had known. He has aided his co-stars from Lagaan, especially Sri Vallabh Vyas, as we all know. All I want to say is, mujhe apne office mein kaam de do (please give me some job in your office),” she said.

When Sri Vallabh Vyas passed away in 2018, it was claimed that Aamir Khan stepped forward to assist the actor and his family. Vallabh had a cerebral stroke followed by a paralytic attack in Gujarat while filming a movie in 2008.

Parveena, on the other hand, disclosed that she received assistance from the CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes’ Association) last year. Last year, even Akshay Kumar stepped up to assist her. This year, she also received help from Sonu Sood.

Aamir has been working on his next film, Laal Singh Chaddha. The picture is a remake of the Tom Hanks-starrer Forrest Gump, which was a box office success in the United States. Aamir Khan co-stars with Kareena Kapoor in the Indian version. After 3 Idiots and Talaash, this will be their third collaboration. Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya also play significant parts in the film.
