From the 25th of January, the era of ‘Pathaan’, the blockbuster movie begun and ever since, numerous records have been broken. The movie will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video from the 22nd of March.
Bhuvan Bam, a comedian and actor, had appeared in a promotional video that Shah Rukh Khan produced to announce the movie’s OTT debut. SRK appears in front of the camera wearing black jeans and a t-shirt, saying, “Apni kursi ke peti bandh lo, kyun ki Pathaan aa gaya hain, sirf Prime Video par.”
Manish Menghani, director of content licensing, Prime Video India stated, “Prime Video has been the exclusive home of Yash Raj Films for many years. We have taken their stories to not only households across India but also fans across the world. YRF’s expansive content slate, and their titles have been some of the most sought after by Prime Video customers. Pathaan is more than a movie, it is a celebration of this country’s love for entertainment. We are thrilled to bring one of the biggest titles of this year to our customers.”
Pathaan will be available to watch in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The OTT version might have some deleted scenes. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie stars John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana and the gorgeous Deepika Padukone.
