On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, Prabhas has royally treated his fans by launching the first unit from his highly anticipated movie Salaar.
A source close to the film said, “The makers are also planning to launch the first unit from this highly anticipated movie Salaar. From the makers of one of the biggest movie franchises ever- KGF, the first unit of Salaar has been hugely anticipated by movie buffs, especially the fans of Prabhas who are excited to see their favorite superstar in a never before avatar. The announcement of the first unit is all set to generate curiosity amongst the audience and will pique everyone’ s interests, leaving them wanting for more.”
Salaar has Shruti Hassan as the film’ s female lead opposite Prabhas. The movie also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu and Easwari Rao as prominent cast members. Under the Hombale Films banner, the movie has a budget of Rs 200 crores. KGF fame Ravi Basrur is composing the film’ s music and Bhuvan Gowda is cranking the camera. The movie is set to release in 2023 in five languages.
Prabhas rose to fame with the blockbuster success of Baahubali. He was then seen in Radhe Shyam and Saaho. He s now gearing up for movies like Spirit, Adiprush and Project K, which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone and is directed by Nag Ashwin.
