On Wednesday, Celebrity R Madhavan was conferred Doctor of Letters (D. Litt.) Because of his contribution to arts and theatre from DY Patil Education Society, Kolhapur, in their convocation ceremony. He shared the information on his Instagram handle using two or three images from the service.
“So quite humbled and thankful about being conferred the degree of Doctor of Letters (D. Litt.) From DY Patil Education Society, Kolhapur. That is an honor and a duty today,” he captioned the pics while still sharing the fantastic news.

On the work front, Madhavan will be seen in his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The movie is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who was accused of espionage. Apart from direction and acting, he has also written and produced the movie.
