Raashii Khanna will make her Bollywood debut shortly. According to media sources, Raashii is in discussions with Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s production company, Dharma Productions, for a starring role in an action franchise. The film, directed by Pushkar Ojha, stars Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani in prominent roles. The producers have begun conversations with Raashii, but nothing has been finalised as of yet.
Raashii Khanna is one of the most brilliant performers in South Indian film and is excited to make her Bollywood debut shortly. According to reports, the new film will go into production later this year or early next year. If everything comes into place, she will sign on the dotted line in the following weeks. However, the production company has yet to make an official comment on the subject.
Raashii Khanna made her OTT debut with a Bollywood web series in which she co-starred with Shahid Kapoor. She later appeared in ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness,’ a Bollywood web series co-starring Ajay Devgn. According to reports, she has completed the filming of both web series.
Raashii Khanna was recently seen in the Telugu film ‘World Famous Lover,’ in which she co-starred with Vijay Deverakonda. The film was released in February 2020 to lacklustre reviews from reviewers and audiences alike. The actress is now on a film signing binge. She has a plethora of films in various stages of development. Her forthcoming film, ‘Pakka Commercial,’ directed by Maruthi, is set to be released on March 18, 2022. She also has Naga Chaitanya Akkineni’s ‘Thank You,’ Karthi’s ‘Sardar,’ and a few of Tamil flicks.
