Rakul Preet Singh recently discussed the Boycott Bollywood trend on social media. She is getting ready for the release of her new movie, “Doctor G,” which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana.

Speaking on the same, the actress stated that boycotting anything impacts the entire filming process, not just the performers. She continued by saying that the industry also suffers in addition to the movies being produced. She continued by saying that when this chain is followed, employment decreases.

Anubhuti Kashyap is the director of the medical school comedy-drama “Doctor G,” which is being made by Junglee Pictures. Anubhuti will make his directing debut with the film as well. Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chaddha have essential parts in the film as well. On October 14, 2022, it is slated to open in theatres.

Along with “Doctor G,” Rakul will also act with Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra in “Thank God.” She is also the star of the movie “Chhatriwali.”

Rakul Preet made it clear that she opposes this culture because of how it affects the country’s job conditions.

She reportedly added, as quoted by the Indian Express, “You should boycott anything that hurts a specific sector of society, but doesn’t pre-empt and start that discourse since it impacts the entire chain of filmmaking, not just the performers.”

Rakul Preet continued, “Boycotting a movie affects the entire creative process. Both the industry and the number of films produced suffer. As a result, a chain is followed. Employment declines We shouldn’t promote these ideas at a time when the government is trying to improve the economy.
