Fans can rejoice as the news is now confirmed!
Red Velvet’s Yeri and PENTAGON’S Hongseok have taken up a new web drama and will be seen sharing the screen soon. Yeri was first confirmed to be the female lead on 7th March. On April 5th, the cast of ‘ Blue Birthday’ had their first script read. The web drama is expected to hit the screen in summer.
‘Blue Birthday’ is a romantic drama and it will portray the story of Oh Harin ( played by Yeri) and Ji Seojun ( played by Hongseok). Oh Harin is a girl who travels back in time with the mysterious photos that her first love left behind when he died 10 years ago on her birthday. She had plans to confess her love to Seojun but he ended up taking his own life. This scares her and leaves her broken. She ends up working at an abandoned animal shelter. It had been 10 years since that terrible incident, when she found the photos which take her back in time. Ji Seojun, on the other hand, planned to confess to Oh Harin on her birthday but ended up dying in the photography room.
