The first schedule of Bollywood upcoming movie Rockey aur Rani ki Prem Kahani has begun, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead and helmed by Karan Johar. The star cast and the director of the film share an update on the same with their fans taking it to social media. shared snaps from the film’s set.
The video shared shows the glimpses of KJo returning to the director’s seat almost after four years, which also marks yet another collaboration between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
Alia’s traditional look has been revealed in the clip shared. Alia can be seen dressed in Indian ethnic wear with a red bindi. On the other hand, Ranveer could be seen practicing dance moves and also filming a scene with Alia under the supervision of the filmmaker Karan Johar.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan shared the video and wrote, “The day is finally here & I have so many feelings going on in my head but what emerges at the top is – gratitude! As we begin our kahani ka first schedule, seeking all your pyaar & aashirvaad! It’s time to roll!Movie camera #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani #RRKPK.”
Raazi actress Alia also share that video and wrote “Too many feels to fit in a caption.”
For the uninitiated, Karan announced the film on Ranveer’s birthday, July 6. His last film was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. Reportedly actors Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan are part of Ranveer’s family in the film and while Shaban Azmi is a part of Alia’s family. The film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy and is scheduled to be released in 2022.
