RRR: Ranveer Singh praises SS Rajamouli’s film for outperforming Hollywood films, describing it as a “proud moment.”

Actor Ranveer Singh is pleased that SS Rajamouli’s recent film RRR has outperformed Hollywood films and gained international acclaim. According to a Pinkvilla report, the Padmavat star was sighted at the Dubai Expo 2020 and shared his delight over the Ram Charan and Jr NTR blockbuster by claiming, “RRR is outperforming Hollywood in terms of box office receipts. Even Salman Khan is a fan of Rajamouli’s film, and he has expressed his feelings about it in the media. Salman Khan was all praise for his ‘Godfather’ co-star Chiranjeevi and his son, ‘RRR’ actor Ram Charan, during the recently completed IIFA Awards 2022 press conference in Mumbai. Salman Khan praised South superstar Ram Charan for his outstanding performance in ‘RRR,’ saying that he did a “great job in RRR.”

According to Bollywoodlife.com, when interacting with the media at the IIFA press conference, Salman remarked, “Working with him has been a fantastic experience (Chiranjeevi). Chiru Garu is someone I’ve known for a long time. He’s also a good buddy. His son (Ram Charan) is a buddy as well.” Salman continued, “In RRR, he (Ram Charan) did an outstanding job. I merely wished him a happy birthday and good luck with his film. I’m quite proud of him. It’s wonderful that he’s doing so well.” Khan went on to say, “However, I’m curious as to why our films aren’t performing so well in the south. Their flicks are a huge hit in this country.”

In terms of box office receipts, RRR has already raked in more than Rs 500 crores globally, with India accounting for 400 crores from all languages. In terms of Ranveer Singh, the actor will next be seen in YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
