Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, turned 34 on August 25 and celebrated her birthday. Ryan took to Instagram this year to troll her wife on a whole new level with a birthday snub. He posted about his favourite thing that happened on the same date, which wasn’t a tribute to his wife, who was born on that date, but rather a funny TikTok video with Mariah Carey.
Ryan and Blake are always coming up with hilarious posts for each other’s birthdays, and they never miss an opportunity to troll each other on the special occasion. Ryan captioned the side-by-side video with Mariah Carey, “My favourite thing that’s ever happened on August 25,” on her Instagram story. They were both singing the 1995 hit “Fantasy.” Ryan put his comedic chops on display as the legendary musician hit all the right notes to her song, fluttered his arms like a butterfly while mouthing the lyrics.
Robyn Lively who is Blake’s older sister and Teen Witch star, also made fun of her on Instagram. Robyn captioned her post, which included an old photo of herself, her husband, Bart Johnson, and Blake picking his nose. She wrote, “Coming soon: ‘The Green Booger’ starring the birthday girl and her nimrod side kicks, You DON’T want to miss this one.”
Blake also trolled Ryan in April 2021, while wishing their friend Gigi Hadid a happy 26th birthday on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself sitting in between the two she wrote, “I think you and I make a much better couple.”
Earlier, Ryan wished his wife a happy birthday in 2019 by sharing their worst selfies together. All the photos showed Lively with her eyes closed. Ryan and Blake’s amusing birthday interactions gives major couple goals to their fans, and they extremely love it.
