Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi’s starrer film ‘Mimi’ got released on July 26, on Netflix and Jio Cinemas, four days before its scheduled release date. The comedy-drama film, unfortunately, got leaked online which forced the makers to officially release the film for the audience. Mimi, directed by Laxman Utekar, is getting a phenomenal response from the critics and the audience.
South actress Samantha Akkineni is also stunned by Kriti Sanon and Pankaj’s performance in the film. She took to Instagram stories and wrote, “Absolutely loved Mimi… Kriti Sanon, you were absolutely fantastic.. so beautiful and honest performance and Pankaj Tripathi sir…congratulations to the entire team.”
Mimi also stars Supriya Pathak, Sai Tamhankar, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Manoj Pahwa. Many other celebs have taken to social media to praise Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi’s performance in Mimi.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti will be next seen in Adipurush along with Baahubali star Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. The mythological based film is helmed by Om Raut and bankrolled by T-Series and Retrophiles. Adipurush will be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
Besides this, she has also recently wrapped up the shoot of Bhediya opposite Varun Dhawan. The upcoming horror comedy is directed by Amar Kaushik and is scheduled for worldwide theatrically release on 14 April 2022.
