Scarlet Heart Ryeo’s die-hard admirers are clamouring for more episodes. Lee Ji Eun (IU) and Lee Joon Gi’s on-screen connection captivated the hearts of many admirers. Fans even signed online petitions urging SBS to renew the show.

Lee Joon-gi hinted to a reunion with co-star Lee Ji-Eun on the set of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo Season 2, but the producers have remained mute. While hosting the special section ‘Dream’ on the Naver NOW show, it happened. Lee Ji-eun (IU) called Lee Joon-gi to wish him a happy birthday. They remember the Scarlet Heart Ryeo set from their childhood. They talked about how much fun they had filming and how much they missed the rest of the cast and crew.

When asked if Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo Season 2 would be possible, Lee Ji-eun replied, “I believe we all feel the same way about the drama that we filmed. We had a blast filming it, and the drama continues to be popular. That’s incredible, right?” “Honestly, we never expected there would be so many people all over the globe who love it so late,” Lee JoonGi concurred, adding, “We never imagined there would be so many people all over the world who love it so late.”

Go Ha-jin (Lee Ji-eun), a 25-year-old lady from the twenty-first century who is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty. During the reign of King Taejo, she awakens in the body of Hae Soo, one of the numerous princes of the royal Wang dynasty. She falls in love with Wang Wook (Kang Ha-neul), the mild and warm-hearted 8th Prince, but then starts a connection with Wang So (Lee Joon-gi), the frightening 4th Prince, who hides his face behind a mask and is dubbed “wolf-dog.”

There are currently no updates on the K-drama. We’ll be updating the news as soon as we learn more about the series.
