The singer has now reacted to it in her new post, and also thanked her fans for always supporting her. ‘Back to You’ singer took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “I am not sure how writing jokes about organ transplants for television shows has become a thing, but sadly it has apparently.” This is not the first time, in fact earlier also her kidney transplant was mentioned on a show, after which Peacock, NBCUniversal’s executive producers had edited the scenes and made an apology for the same.

The Pop star was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Lupus and received a kidney transplant in 2017. A close friend of singer Francia Raisa, became the donor, and she has been a major part of her life since growing up.
Selena responded to the controversy by expressing love for her fans, who have supported her always. She wrote, “My fans always have my back. LOVE YOU.” She also shared a link with fans if they wish to donate organ and become the donors to help those who have the need.
