Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty has filed a cheating complaint in a land deal matter. According to Mumbai Police, Sunanda has accused, a person named Sudhakar Ghare of selling her fake land papers.
Taking to Twitter, ANI quoted the Mumbai Police, “The accused, with the help of fake papers, had sold land to Sunanda for Rs 1.6 crores. The case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC.”
While more details about this case are still awaited, trouble continues to mount for Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra. Markets regulator SEBI imposed a monetary penalty on Viaan Industries Ltd. As per the SEBI order, a total fine of Rs 3 lakh has been imposed on Shilpa and Raj, who are the promoters of Viaan Industries.
After businessmen Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police as a key conspirator in the production and distribution of pornographic racket cases, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was also questioned in the same case by the investigating officials. In her statement, the actress has denied her involvement in Raj’s company. Shilpa also claimed that she was unaware of the exact content of the HotShots app.
However, the Mumbai Crime Branch officials have confirmed that Shilpa’s role will be further probed in the matter. An official told ANI, “Shilpa Shetty hasn’t been given a clean chit yet. All possibilities/angles are being probed. Forensic auditors are appointed and they are looking into the transactions of all accounts in this case. Other directors of Viaan Industries (Raj Kundra’s company) will also be called for statements, as and when needed.”
