Sonam Kapoor‘s sister Rhea Kapoor recently tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Karan Boolani in a low-key affair in Mumbai. Rhea and Karan’s wedding is currently the talk of the town and celebrities are sharing their best wishes for the newlywed couple. Sonam too shared congratulatory messages and her love for the couple.

Since Rhea and Karan were dating for the past 12 years, the Kapoor family is well acquainted with him. Sharing a lovely picture with her brother-in-law, the Khubsoorat actress wrote, “You’ve always been family. Your friendship is even more important than your title of being my brother-in-law. But I’m so ecstatic that you are! Love you @karanboolani.”
Sonam looked stunning in a mint blue and blush pink traditional attire by Anamika Khanna for her sister’s wedding. Post the wedding ceremony, the Kapoor sisters posed for a photo shoot and the pictures are gorgeous. Sharing a picture with Rhea, she wrote, “Side by side or miles apart, we sisters will always be connected by the heart. Honored to be the sister of the most beautiful bride. Love you. @rheakapoor.”
For the unversed, Rhea and Karan dated for 12 years before tying the knot on August 14 at Anil Kapoor’s residence in Juhu. The couple opted for an intimate ceremony at home with only family members and close friends in attendance.
