Sonam Kapoor has been enjoying marital bliss and a sweet baby. Known for being a fashion icon, she was last seen in The Zoya Factor. Post her delivery, Sonam has been eager to get back to work, with the official remake of 2011 Korean film Blind. The movie got delayed due to the pandemic and an OTT release was the Plan B.

A source tells us, “The makers of Blind are looking to sell the film for a staggering Rs. 40 crores. The high asking amount is keeping the OTT players in the market away. Though the film will continue with its theatrical release pattern, it has now only become a formality before its sale to any streaming platform. However, with no OTT platform ready to shell out Rs. 40 crores to acquire the venture, the release of Blind seems to be in limbo.”

Blind is an official remake of the 2011 Korean film by the same name and is the story of a blind police office in search of a serial killer. The movie also has Lillete Dubey, Vinay Pathak and Purab Kohli.
