Bollywood actor and Humanitarian Sonu Sood has been tested positive for Covid-19 today (April 17). The actor took to social media account to inform his health updates with his fans and well wishes.
The actor took to twitter and Instagram to share the health update and wrote, “Covid-Positive, Mood and spirit- Super positive.” He further added, “Hi everyone, This is to inform you that I have tested positive this morning for Covid-19 as a part of precautions I have already quarantined myself and taking utmost care.. But don’t worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems, remember I am always there for you all.”
Earlier this month, Sonu Sood took the first jab of Covid-19 vaccine and start the initiative, ‘Sanjeevani- A shot of life’ to create awareness and encourage people to get vaccinated against novel corona virus.
He shared his picture of taking the vaccine and tweeted, “Got my vaccine today and now it is time to get the whole of my country vaccinated. Started the biggest vaccination drive “Sanjeevani” which will bring awareness and get our people vaccinated. @IllajIndia @Network18Group @SoodFoundation”
In 2020, Sonu Sood helped thousands of daily wage workers to get back to their home, as the government imposed nationwide lockdown due to the ongoing pandemic. He helped them by arranging travel facilities for them and also arranged alternate sources of income for the people.
On the work front, Sonu Sood has movies like Prithviraj, Acharya and kisaan in the pipeline.
