Sunny Deol has previously stated that his wife Pooja Deol and mother Prakash Kaur like to stay out of the spotlight. Sunny Deol, who celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, has had a successful career in Bollywood. Sunny has appeared in a number of successful films, including Ghayal, Border, and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, after making his acting debut in 1983 with Betaab. His wife Pooja Deol, like his mother Prakash Kaur, has chosen a life away from the spotlight.
When asked about the women in the Deol home keeping out of the spotlight, the Darr actor explained that it was their choice.
“Neither my mother nor my wife was compelled to avoid the spotlight. My wife is a unique individual. She has always been free to make her own choices. She has the option of not making public appearances. In a 2013 interview with Deccan Chronicle, he remarked, “Neither my father (Dharmendra) nor I have compelled the ladies in our household to obey our norms.”
Dharmendra’s second wife, Hema Malini, chose to continue her career in the film business after marriage, despite the fact that Pooja, Prakash, and even Sunny’s sisters Vijeta and Ajeita Deol had opted for a life away from the spotlight. Esha Deol, the couple’s oldest daughter, is also an actress.
Sunny, on the other hand, has spent the previous few years focusing on his political career. The actor is a member of the Gurdaspur constituency in the Indian Parliament.
Sunny will re-join with Dharmendra and Bobby Deol in the forthcoming film Apne 2, in which he will make his Bollywood comeback. Sunny’s son Karan Deol will also appear in the family franchise. The film was supposed to be released around Diwali in 2021, however it has already been postponed.
