Taapsee Pannu is soon going to turn producer. On Thursday, the actress took to social media to announce the launch of her production house, Outsider Films. She also penned a heartfelt note and thanked everyone who supported her and promised her fans to deliver good content.
Taapsee who was last seen in Haseen Dillruba is taking a step forward in her career by launching up her production house. Announcing the same, she wrote, “Last year when it was almost a decade since I plunged into the dream this Indian Film Industry is, I never knew I will not just float but actually learn to swim my way through. For someone who never dreamt of being a public figure I am forever grateful to everyone who has bestowed so much love and trust in me and my work.”
She further added, “Time for some payback, because with great power comes greater responsibility. So wish me luck and I promise to try my best to bring the best, coz the view is the best from the “outside” Writing a new chapter of life, now as a producer with the “Outsider Films” #OutsidersFilms #NewChapter.”
Taapsee’s last film, Haseen Dillruba, received much appreciation. The film also featured Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles. Recently, the actress shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the sets of Haseen Dillruba. The video showed how Taapsee and Vikrant had a blast on the sets of the film.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Overheard On The Sets Of Haseen Dillruba: Jitna mazza aapko film dekhne mein aaya, utna hi mazza humein film banane mai bhi aaya! Watch all the masti and magic that went into making #HaseenDillruba now! #TheUltimateKaunspiracy (sic).”
Meanwhile, Taapsee has several films lined up. The actress recently signed Telugu film Mishan Impossible. Last week, she started shooting for the film in Hyderabad.
Apart from this, Taapsee also has Rashmi Rocket, Looop Lapeta, and Shabaash Mithu in her pipeline.
