Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali the Star Plus’ latest offering is a remake of the Telugu show Gorintaku.
It premiered on the channel on 15th February 2021. Fairly a brand new daily soap, Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali is catching pace.
Moreover as the lead characters Raghav and Pallavi clash and go head to head, the twists in tales are gripping.
Also with every episode the clash between them just intensifies rather than subduing in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali.
The show stars Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar portraying the lead characters, Raghav and Pallavi.
Further the shows happens to be their debut in the Hindi television industry.
The two actors recently gave an interview to India Today.in spoke about shooting for Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali and shared their thoughts.
Sai Ketan Rao, the actor essaying Raghav hails from Hyderabad and has earlier worked in a Telugu movie and web series.
Talking about Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, he told,
“People meet and this show is about how their story moves forward.”
In addition he also added about his experience
“I am from Hyderabad and the shooting also took place there. My experience has been really good.”
While actress Shivangi Khedkar is debuting with Mehndi Hai and she went on to share about her character and more.
She told IndiaToday.in,
“This is my first show and for me, shooting, interviews, camera is all new and I am learning it all. But I am giving my 100 per cent.”
In addition also elaborating about the character, she revealed,
“My character is of a Maharashtrian girl, Pallavi. Since our whole team is Marathi, everyone helps me in speaking words in their language. Even I am working hard on myself.”
With the sets based out of Mumbai, the actress also went on to share her shooting experience. She said and we quote –
“The location in Kolhapur, the set, the food and most importantly, the people here is so good. There is no traffic like Mumbai here. There is peace that I like very much.”
And she also added,
” I have become a fan of Kolhapuri chicken.”
