The Popular television show Pavitra Rishta was loved by fans and the show gained immense of popularity and TRP. Now the second season of the show is all set to mark its release. Actor Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh will be essaying in the lead role. Ankita will be in her role as Archana, wherein Shaheer will be seen portraying the role of Manav that was earlier played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and later by Hiten Tejwani in the first season.

On Sunday evening Ankita lokhande took to her Instagram and shared a boomerang from the sets of Pavitra Rishta, her story caption reads, “Pavitra Rishta,” along with an emoji of heart. The actress also shared a post on her Instagram where she is seen standing next to Shaheer Sheikh. The duo is seen in the get-up of Archana and Manav. Ankita’s post caption reads, “Sometimes in most ordinary lives, we find the most extraordinary love stories! Witness the extraordinary love story of Manav and Archana. #PavitraRishta Filming begins; streaming soon on #ALTBalaji #ItsNeverTooLate.”

The end of the first season was in 2014 and now the shooting for the second season has begun. It will soon mark its release soon on ZEE5 for 55 days, and it will also be available on ALTBalaji.

The show will be directed by Nandita Mehra and written by Nikita Dhond, Gautam Hegde & Ritu Bhatia. The digital series will be helmed by producer Bhairavi Raichura’s 24 Frames Production. Other cast of the show are Hiten Tejwani, Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Veer Mehra, and many more. Usha Nadkarni will be also returning to her role from season one as Savita Deshmukh aka Manav’s mother.

Ankita and Sushant dated each other for six years.  Their love story begin in the sets of Pavitra Rishta.  The actor had to leave the show mid-way to make her Bollywood debut. The role of Manav was continued by actor Hiten Tejwani. On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai. The late actor’s last film was Dil Bechara, which was directed by Mukesh Chhabra that was released in July 2020.
