Kapil Sharma warmly welcomes his audience and appreciates them for leaving their work behind and attending the show. He adds that he has a very special guest who is known for his work in North and South Indian languages. He then calls upon Kamal Hassan onto the stage who gets a standing ovation from the crowd.

Kapil tells everyone that he had started this site for 3 months, but it’s been 9 years, and still running. Kamal reciprocates the warmth and congratulates Kapil for his success.  Kapil tells him that he has been a big fan of his since childhood and asks him how an artist becomes a politician as politics is done by people who are intelligent, knowledgeable, and have a say in things whereas artists do their work using their hearts, not minds. Kamal Hassan insists politics too can be done by putting one’s heart into it. Everyone applauds.

During the show, Kapil joked about his transformation into a woman in the 1997 film Chachi 420, where Kamal played a man who dresses up as a woman to stay close to his daughter. In a promo video shared by Sony TV’s Instagram account, Kapil asks Kamal, “When Chachi 420 came Paresh Rawal and the other actors were aware that it is you behind the saree but did anyone from the village where you were shooting fall for you?”

On hearing this, Kamal laughs and recounts, “The assistant director came to me to tell me my dialogues. And then when I looked down, he started shaking because my saree’s pallu fell.”

As the show moves on, Kapil requests Kamal to sing a song. The actor sang the melodious ‘Surmayee Ankhiyon Mein”, making everyone emotional. Kapil then sang ‘Ae Zindagi Gale Lagale’ and concluded with ‘Solah Baras Ki Baali Umar’, sung by Kapil’s Australian friend.

The episode ended with a lot of smiles.
