The fourth collaboration between BTS and Casetify is made up of tech accessories like as phone covers and chargers, and is based on the chart-topping track “Butter.”
BTS, a South Korean boy band, has teamed up with Casetify to release a new Butter-themed collaboration, allowing K-Pop fans to get their hands on a variety of tech accessories. The collection, which will be released on Tuesday, October 12th, will be the band’s fourth collaboration with the Hong Kong electronics business.
It will include everything from iPhone, Samsung, and Airpod covers to Apple Watch bands, PVC sling bags, wireless chargers, and Casetify’s newest addition, a personalized Nintendo Switch carrying pouch, according to Variety.
BTS’ Butter has dominated the music charts, winning Billboard’s Song of the Summer for 2021 and having the most views of any music video ever premiered on YouTube. Each item costs between $25 and $79 and has the melting butter heart imagery that the band utilized as a countdown before the release of the track in May.
In a press statement, Casetify’s CEO and co-founder, Wes Ng, stated that the partnership with BTS is a celebration of ‘identity and self-expression.’ He also expressed his delight at the prospect of bringing the first Butter capsule to their neighborhood. He expressed confidence in BTS fans appreciating these designs, mentioning the ‘smooth’ song the item is inspired from. The special designs also include colorful iconographic doodles, a stack of pancakes, and cassettes, in addition to the butter heart picture.
Meanwhile, tickets for BTS’s forthcoming Permission to Dance Onstage performance in Los Angeles were just published. This is the South Korean boy band’s first live performance in front of an audience since their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself global tour in 2019. For the uninitiated, the boyband comprised of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment and has since gone on to become one of the most popular bands in the world.
