Based on the 1993 novel of the same name by John le Carre, this is a thriller series where in an ex-British soldier becomes the night manager of a hotel.
He is handed a dangerous task of infiltrating the inner circle of a dangerous arms dealer who has killed his beloved. Shelly, the villain is known for his corruption and violence and is a grave threat for the national security. Shaan, the entrusted savior, uses all his resources to penetrate the system and distort it.
Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, are all set to take us on a highly captivating journey with this one. The dialogues, screenplay and the mystery are all helmed in brilliantly in this one. Shridhar Raghavan and Sandeep Modi have done a fantastic job here.
The two ladies, Sobhita Dhulipala as Shelly’s mistress and Tilotama Shome have done complete justice to their roles. I don’t want to divulge any details, it’s a great watch. I would rate it 3.5/5. With a stellar cast and a good plot, some great chemistry between the stars, this one is a good entertainer. Girls, Aditya Roy Kapoor is the added bonus.
Points to remember-
- There is no Season 2, it’s the fifth episode onwards.
- There are few adds in the middle, bear with them.
