J-hope, who was often renowned for his cheery and upbeat nature, revealed a whole another side of himself through his solo project with Jack in the Box.

J-pre-released hope’s song MORE from the album displayed his unpolished, raw side, which was shown in his teaser and concept images.

J-hope is getting ready to release his album after MORE’s success, for which he released a video teaser named Hope in the Box.

The soundtrack in the backdrop of the video gives off a spooky feeling, yet the phrase “Only one object was left in the box. It was “Hope” that chose a completely other path.

Fans quickly pointed out that the teaser was a reference to Pandora’s box as soon as the post went popular online. The legend claims that out of curiosity, a woman by the name of Pandora opened a box that she shouldn’t have. As the box was opened, every vice and unhappiness in the universe sprang forth and dispersed around the globe.

She looked inside the box, which has since been held onto by people in order to combat the evil forces released by Pandora, and felt guilty for having let the evil out into the world. All that was left within the box was Hope.

The ARMY applauded J-hope for giving the solo project everything he had, and they were in awe of the concept’s excellent thought process.

They also recognized that J-hope had previously provided a key indication regarding Pandora’s box.

With the teaser, he was also able to convey the message that one should never be scared to explore beyond the box and realize their potential, whether it be in music or anything else.
