As the second wave of deadly corona virus is hitting hard on India, reportedly nearly 2 lakh fresh cases were recorded on Wednesday. The number of cases has almost doubled in the last 10 days. A total of 1, 99,620 new cases was recorded.
In lieu of this, bollywood actress Juhi Chawla on Thursday took to social media and urged the people of the Maharashtra state to be grateful and to start ‘new gratitude chain’.
The senior actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a mesmerizing monochromatic picture in full-length satin gown of self sitting on the couch and striking a candid pose.
She captioned her post and wrote, “People of Maharashtra, we are all home again to Break the Chain and we most certainly will, if we put our mind to it, I believe this is also the time for all of us to be grateful, so should we start a new gratitude chain? #BreakTheChain #Gratitude #CovidPositivity.”
Meanwhile, Maharashtra is the worst affected state in the country. The state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced a strict ‘Janta Curfew’ in the state to break the chain of the deadly virus.
The curfew has been imposed from 8pm on April 14 and remains imposed till 7am on May 1. The government recently announced that the shoots of films, ads, TV serials to remain halted in the state as per the protocol of the curfew and to curb the novel corona virus cases.
On the professional front, Juhi Chawla will be seen in the all women cast and crew web series ‘Hush Hush’ to be released on Amazon Prime. The series also features Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami, Ayesha Jhulka and Kritika Kamra.
