Malayalam and Tamil actor Tovino Thomas has been tested positive for novel corona virus and currently is under home quarantine. He also added that it has been few days since he got contracted with the virus. The actor was last seen in the film Kala and is waiting for his superhero film, Minnal Murali to be released.
He took to his Instagram account on Thursday to share the news with his fans and well wishers and urged everyone to stay safe.
He wrote, “Hello. As it turns out, I have been tested positive for covid and is currently in isolation. It was an asymptomatic case, I am fine and well. So its been quarantine time for a couple of days now. A few more days to look forward and long about returning to action and entertaining you all… Stay safe, everyone. Be back soon.”
Soon after Tovino Thomas posted about covid-19 diagnosis, his friends from film fraternity took to comment to wish him speedy recovery.
On the professional front, Tovino has got many films lined up at different stages of production. He will be seen in films like Kurup, Minnal Murali, Kaanekkaane, Vazhakku, Naaradan among others.
