There are various industries over the world hit by the wave of COVID-19. The K-drama industry is no exception as an upcoming drama ‘Police University’ has had to stop filming after one of the crew members tested positive. The drama stars Krystal, Jinyoung, and Chae Tae Hyun in lead roles.

On June 22, KBS officially announced, “On June 16, one of the staff members for ‘Police University’ was diagnosed with COVID-19.”

KBS then added  “The staff member diagnosed with COVID-19 has a job that involves almost no contact with the cast and crew. However, as there has been a confirmed case, the entire cast and crew of ‘Police University’ has undergone testing for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure, including those who have not had close contact with the patient. At the moment, we have temporarily halted filming, and we do not yet have [concrete plans] to resume. We are currently in the midst of adjusting our filming schedule.”

The KBS drama stars f(x)’s Krystal and B1A4’s Jinyoung as students studying in a police university. Cha Tae Hyun will be seen as a detective and teacher who joins hands with his students to solve a messy investigation.
