Recently, Vaani shared the real reason behind her selection of films, and she picks the films from her heart. She told IANS, “I have never chosen films thinking I will win awards for them. I have always chosen projects from my heart and that’s why I’m fortunate that I have films like ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ in my filmography.It is rare to find a project that can consume you, make you dissolve yourself on screen to become someone like Maanvi. Maanvi is an idea and an ideal for the world and I’m blessed that I got to play this character with all my heart and soul.”

From Delhi, Vaani was born on 23rd August 1988. The actress started her Bollywood career with Yash Raj Films. She received bachelor’s degree in Tourism studies from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. In 2013, Kapoor made her movie debut with a supporting role in the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance. Vaani was very well appreciated for her performance and earned her several awards and nominations, including the “Best Female Debut” at the 59th Filmfare Awards.
