Bollywood actor and Humanitarian Sonu Sood took to social media and shared that one of his fans walked barefoot for 700 Km from Hyderabad to Mumbai just to meet him. The actor has gained a huge fan base through his films but he has become a messiah of daily wage workers after the pandemic.

In the recent post, Sonu shared how his die-hard fan, Venkatesh came to meet him, and despite him arranging transport facilities for him, he refused it and chose to walk to meet the superstar.

Taking to his official Instagram handle he shared the picture with his fan and wrote, “Venkatesh, this boy walked barefoot all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet me, despite me making efforts to arrange some sort of transportation for him to come here. He is truly inspiring and has immensely humbled me.”

Later in his post, he requested his fans and followers saying not to go overboard to meet him and risk their lives. He said, “P.S. I, however, don’t want to encourage anyone to take the trouble of doing this, love you all.”

As the government imposed nationwide lockdown in 2020 due to an ongoing pandemic, Sonu helped thousands of daily wage workers to get back to their homes. He helped them by arranging travel facilities for them and also arranged alternate sources of income for the people.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Sood will be seen in the historical action drama film, ‘Prithviraj’. The film also features Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar, Sanjay Dutt, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari. The film is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and bankrolled by Aditya Chopra.
