When asked about Shah Rukh Khan’s tardiness, Juhi Chawla claimed that the actor once came at her party after everyone had departed and she was sound asleep.

Shah Rukh Khan’s co-stars and directors have admitted that he isn’t always on time. Even Juhi Chawla has admitted that Shah Rukh was once so late to a party that by the time he came, the party had already ended and everyone, including Juhi, had fallen asleep.
Juhi said she was holding a party at 11:00 p.m. and had asked Shah Rukh to attend on the Zee Comedy Show. Although the star guaranteed his appearance, he warned her that he would be late.
“Whenever we have a party at our residence, Shah Rukh Khan is usually invited. We usually refer to him as “home” because I’ve worked with him on numerous projects and he’s also a member of our sports team. I had phoned him at one party, and everyone was thrilled that he was coming, especially my employees, who wanted to snap photographs with him. I had instructed him to arrive by 11 p.m., but he said he would be a little late. He finally arrived at 2.30 a.m., after the staff had departed and I had slept. According to a leading newspaper, “the dinner was also done, everyone had gone home, and that’s when he appeared.”
