Anupama receives a barrage of criticism from Baa for failing to visit the Shah home to check on Pakhi. Anupama is mocked and reprimanded by Vanraj and Baa when she arrives, but the former doesn’t let their comments affect her.
Baa queries why Anupama did not inform them herself when Vanraj explains that Barkha had informed them the truth regarding Adhik. Anupama claims that she did not want to conceal anything and had made up her mind to inform them after Diwali. Anupama insists that they not panic and to make their decisions with a cool mind as she holds her ground. She also responds appropriately to Vanraj and Baa when they persistently try to accuse her of lying to them.
Anupama’s ex-husband claims that despite his best efforts not to ruin her first day of college, his anxiety over the whole thing caused him to become frustrated. He says to Anupama that he wishes to send Pakhi abroad to study in a different place. Anupama requests that everyone give it some time to sink in. All of this is heard by Pakhi.
Barkha has Anuj in a rage for ruining the festival in the middle of it. Adhik, Ankush, and Anupama also participate in criticising Barkha, who claims that she did so solely because she doesn’t believe Adhik’s love is genuine. Adhik pleads with Anuj to prevent Vanraj from sending Pakhi away when Anupama discloses his intentions. Anuj requests that everyone take a break till after Diwali.
When Diwali finally arrives, the Shahs are too busy to see Pakhi, Kinjal, and Paritosh. The Kapadias observe their celebration with a Puja at work. They become aware of Adhik’s disappearance and believe he is with buddies.
More turmoil is promised for Anupama’s life in the upcoming episode. The family is surprised when Pakhi and Adhik reappear after going away and appear to have married.
