Bollywood Celebs pours in Birthday wishes for Ajay Devgn as the actor turns 52 today

Ajay Devgn has proved his versatility in last four decades with his wide range of acting, producing and directing projects.  He is one of the most prominent personalities of Bollywood. On the occasion of his birthday, bollywood celebrities pour in Birthday wishes on social media. 

Actor’s wife Kajol wished him in a bit different and hilarious way. She tweeted, “Tried getting a selfie but the only “selfie” I could manage was his “self” with another camera… doing what makes him happiest! Happy Birthday… today and always @ajaydevgn.”

Sanjay dutt shared a still with Ajay Devgn on twitter and wrote, “Happy Birthday brother @ajaydevgn! Wishing you a year ahead filled with love and happiness. Love you!”

A toast to old friendship with forever fresh memories. Many many happy returns of the day AJ!! @ajaydevgn”, tweeted by his old friend and actor Suniel Shetty. 

Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor tweeted, “Happy Birthday, @ajaydevgn!! Wishing you a great year filled with health, success and happiness! Looking forward to watching #TheBigBull!!”

Madhuri Dixit Nene also wished her co-star actor and twetted, “Wish you a Happy Birthday @ajaydevgn. From #Lajja to #TotalDhamaal it’s always a wonderful experience working with you.”

Siddharth Malhotra also took to twitter and wrote, “Happy Birthday @ajaydevgn sir! Wishing all the love, luck and good health.” 

Many other celebrities namely, Rakul Preet, Parineeti Chopra, Esha Deol, Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif took to their Instagram stories and wished the actor on his birthday. 

On the professional front, Ajay Devgn has The Big Bull, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sooryavanshi, Maidaan in the pipeline for release.

Anupama actress Rupali Ganguly and Aashish Mehrotra have been tested Covid-19 positive. The two are currently in home quarantine. The two actors are currently seen on the show Anupama portraying the character of Anupamaa and Paritosh.

As per the reports, Rupali Ganguly is under home quarantine and her family also got tested and their results are awaited. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared the news and wrote, “Ma Corona Devi, Tu hai ki nahiiii (mild to asymptomatic), Ye kya hua kaise hua, Jab hua tab hua… Chodo ye na pooch… This is the kind of positive I didn’t want to be.”

Later in the post, she added, “Take care and stay safe everyone and keep showering your love on my family and Anupama family. Sorry for letting u and Rudra down @ashwinkverma and the entire unit down @rajan.shahi.543 despitue you taking all the precautions- pata nahi kaha se ho gaya… Have quarantined myself away from my family and other humans.”

She later informed that family and entire unit is getting tested and wrote, “Family has been tested and awaiting results… please keep them in your prayers. Unit is getting tested too as I write this… please send out a lot of love, healing and prayers for my family and for my Anupamaa family.”

Aashish Mehrotra, who plays the role of on-screen son of Rupali has also been tested positive and is under home quarantine.  

In the entertainment industry, the novel corona virus cases are on spike. Recently, Priyal Mahajan, Aamr Upadhyay, Karan Jotwani have also been tested covid positive.

The Korean drama Crash Landing on You has left a profound impact on the minds of a lot of people. The Netflix original is a simple love story that has touched many people. People have been yearning to watch more of this show and the love story between Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin.

There is good news for the fans of the show and this couple.  According to reports, the production company Pop Music will be adapting the popular TV series into a musical. More details in regards to this musical are sketchy at the moment but the same is expected to release by 2022.

Pop Music has signed global publication rights with Studio Dragon in regards to making this musical. It is also been revealed that the shoot for the same will begin by June 2022 in Seoul. While talking about this development the company’s CEO Kim Jin-seok while talking to a media publication has also revealed that they’ve received lots of interest about the project from actors and foreign production companies because of the series’ popularity. However, there is no announcement that has been made in this regards.

The show has a massive fan following and it had opened to spectacular rating. Crash Landing on You was released in February 2020 and it continues to be popular on Netflix to date. If you have not watched the show till now, one can head to the OTT app and watch.

It is a story of how a South Korean girl crash lands into North Korea as a result of a freak accident. Coming from a wealthy family, she finds life in North Korea very different from hers. On top of it, she falls in love with a soldier for North Korea. As the story progresses there are many twists and turns in their love story and how they keep separating and meeting.

 

BTS reveals heart-crushing feeling of losing someone in expressive ‘Film Out’ music video

After a phenomenal 2020 with record-breaking songs and albums, BTS is out with new music.  The band has released the track titled ‘Film Out’ from their upcoming Japanese album ‘BTS, THE BEST’ which will have a compilation of their hit Japanese songs.  BTS has also performed the OST, ‘Don’t Leave Me’, for the series in the year 2018.

The soundtrack is in collaboration with the Japanese rock band Black Number. Jungkook worked with Back Number’s vocalist Iyori Shimizu to create the melody for the song The music will be used in the upcoming Japanese movie Signal. The movie Signal is a remake of a Korean drama with the same name.

The new music video starts with Jungkook and Jimin singing in different rooms when Jin walks in the room and sees the members from a distance. RM’s verses are depressing as there is the recollection of the tragic incident, ” It actually feels like Jin is recalling the fond memories and wants to reach out to someone. There is back and forth between his solo scenes and the group moments including callbacks to their Korean song ‘Fake Love’ – especially the parts in the room and with an hourglass as he sings “From all the memories stored in my heart / I gather up the ones of you, link them together.”

 

As regards the next part, Suga and J-Hope are seen corresponding with each other in a deserted place. At some places, the music seems like a rejoinder ‘Black Swan’ when Ego met Shadow. Jimin and V totally synchronize with each other while they evoke the intense vision together.  The music video goes back and forth between how they are eager to find that “someone” and start wandering again.

The teaser of the music video ‘BTS, THE BEST’  has been just revealed.   The video will release on June 16, three days after the 8th anniversary of BTS. It will have extra materials like behind-the-scenes shots, along with 23 tracks containing Japanese versions of music videos of their 6 songs in the discs – ‘Film Out’, ‘Stay Gold’, ‘Mic Drop’ and Blood, Sweat, Tears’, ‘Lights’, ‘Airplane pt.2′.

 

 

Comedy King Kapil Sharma turns 40; let’s revisit his Journey to success

The popular standup comedian Kapil Sharma has turned 40 today (April 2). On the occasion of his birthday, let’s revisit his success journey from Amritsar to Mumbai.  He started his career as a contestant in a reality show and now is ruling the industry from his comedy.

Kapil was first seen on ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ and later was declared the winner of the show. He also won the Comedy Circus aired on Sony Six and have also hosted couple of reality shows.

In the year 2013, he launched his own show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ on Colors channel. In 2015, he made his Bollywood debut from the film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ alongside Eli Avram, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur and Sai Lokur in the lead. Then in the following year, he started his new show aired on Sony TV ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. 

Kapil Sharma married his long time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in 2018 in Jalandhar. The couple was blessed with a baby girl Anayra in 2019 and a baby boy earlier this year. 

Today, he is one of the most successful stars of the entertainment industry and enjoys huge stardom.  He has always said that his popularity is a result of 15 years of hard work. His journey to success has been with lots of up’s and down’s.

Bollywood diva Malaika Arora took the first dose of vaccination on Friday morning. Taking to her Instagram she wrote, “I took the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Because #wereinthistogether ! Let’s go warriors, let’s win this #WarAgainstVirus. Don’t forget to take yours soon! (And a special mention to our amazing frontline workers, who were so caring and vigilant and went about doin everything with a smile) THANK YOU.”

The actress concluded her post by mentioning, “And yes I am eligible to take the vaccine.” Probably she was hinting at the central government decision that all people above 45 years of age are eligible for the vaccine from April 1. 

Malaika Arora

In 2020, Malaika Arora was seen judging the television dance reality show, ‘India’s best Dancer’. During the show the actress was contracted with novel corona virus and was tested positive. Later, she shared the news on social media and was in home quarantine.  

Today, Amitabh Bachchan also took the first dose of the vaccine. Sharing the news Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Vaccination done. All well. Did Covid test for family and staff yesterday, results came today. All good, all negative. So done the vaccine.”

Veteran actor Anupam Kher and his son Sikander shared a heartfelt note with their fans and well-wishers after Chandigarh BJP president Arun Sood stated in the press conference that veteran actress and BJP party’s MP Kirron kher has been diagnosed with Blood cancer.  

Taking to Instagram Anupam Kher shared a post which read along as, “Just so that rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikander and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.”

Later, the note read as, “She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been- fighter and takes things head on, She’s all heart and that’s why she has so many people that love her, so keep sending your love to her in your prayers and in your heart. She is well on her way to recovery and we thank everyone for their support and love.”

Many bollywood celebrities poured their wishes for the well being of Kirron Kher. Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Prayers” with a folded hand emoji. Shilpa Sheety commented, “Praying for @kirronkhermp ji’s speedy recovery”. Parineeti Chopra also commented on his post and wrote, “Sir we are praying for her” along with folded hand emoji.  

Kirron kher is undergoing the treatment which began last year in Kokilaben Hospital Mumbai.

Hrithik Roshan congratulated Tamil cinema superstar Rajinikanth as he gets conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

The actor shared his unseen monochromatic childhood picture with Rajinikanth on twitter and penned down heartfelt note along with it.  “My dearest @rajinikanth Sir… Your aura and persona compliments the prestige of Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Makes me so happy to have yet another reason to celebrate YOUR legend. Lots of love and respect, as I continue to look up to your greatness”, penned the actor.

Earlier, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar made an announcement of the award taking to twitter. He tweeted, “Happy to announce #Dadasaheb Phalke award for 2019 to one of the greatest actors in history of Indian cinema Rajnikant ji. His contribution as actor, producer and screenwriter has been iconic. I thank jury @ashabhosle @SubhashGhai1 @Mohanlal @Shankar_Live #BiswajeetChatterjee.”

The legendary actor, Rajinikanth has also won Prestigious Padma Bhusan in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2016. 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Rajinikanth will be next seen in ‘Annatthe’ and Hrithik Roshan has Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ lined up. He will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone in the film.

Abdul Quddus, the eldest son of late actor Kader Khan from his first wife. He took his last breath in Canada on Thursday (April 1).The demise comes after two years since the death of writer-actor who died in December 2018 in Canada itself. 

The news of his demise was shared on one of the paparazzo’s social media account. Abdul was hospitalized from five months due to kidney ailments.

Abdul’s younger brother Sarfaraz issued a statement and said, “My brother was on dialysis. He had Kidney problems for some time. He was in the hospital for the last five months, trying to fight it out, but yesterday morning he left all of us.”

Actor Kadar Khan was best known for his comic timing and his powerful dialogues as a screen writer. The late actor had worked in more than 300 films. He took his last breath in Canada at the age of 81 after prolonged illness and his last rights were performed in Toronto.

He also has two other sons—Sarfaraz Khan and Shah Nawaz Khan. Sarfaraz has also acted in films like Tere Naam (2003), Maine Dil Tujhko Diya (2002), Wanted (2009) to name a few.

The actress before got separated from film producer husband Sahil Sangha in 2019 after 11 years of togetherness.
