The 7 Fates: Chakho OST by BTS’ Jungkook, which was produced by fellow band member Suga, has reached a new milestone. Stay Alive, the music of BTS’s original webtoon and novel 7 Fates, was published on February 11 by Jungkook.

Stay Alive raced to the top of iTunes top song charts in 51 countries in just three hours after its release, and by six hours, it had become the fastest single by a Korean soloist to reach No. 1 in 80 countries. Stay Alive topped the iTunes Top Songs rankings in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, and Germany after 14 hours.

Chakho is a future urban fantasy based on the Joseon Dynasty’s chakhogapsa tiger-hunting officers. It tells the narrative of seven boys who are fated to be bonded as they face challenges and grow up together. With their futures inextricably linked to the tiger, the seven members form Chakho, a tiger hunting team, and face the world together.

With their individual singles, the members of BTS have attained new heights. On the Billboard Digital Song Sales list, V’s song “Christmas Tree” debuted at No. 1. The song was included in Choi Woo Sik and Kim Dami’s drama, Our Beloved Summer, as part of the soundtrack. V became the first Korean solo artist to have a solo single debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart.
